Rector Search Process

St. Stephen's is in the process of searching for a new rector. The search committee was selected by the Vestry in October and includes: Larry Burt, Louise Cummins, Stephanie Hernandez, Andi Howard, Carrol Holley, Susan McCutchin, Mike Mezack, Britt Pharris and Maggie Seymour.

At this time, members of the congregation have completed a parish survey and held a parish town hall forum to formulate goals for St. Stephen's future.

The Search Committee has completed the Parish Position Profile and it has been sent to the National Deployment Office. The Parish Profile will be completed by mid December. The Search Committee will send informational packets and questionnaires to rector nominees as soon as names become available through the diocesan vetting process and then will conduct follow-up telephone interviews with rector nominees. We anticipate that this will begin in January. The Committee then aims to present candidates for interviews with the Vestry and Search Committee
