The Reverend Pat Russell, Priest in Residence (ret.)   

Mother Pat Russell was born in San Angelo, TX and was raised in Norman, OK.  She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Public Administration before receiving her ADN at Hartnell Collegen in Salinas, CA.  For over 37 years, she worked in several different capacities, including an English teacher, operating room nurse, medical practice administrator, and medical-legal investigator.  During her discernment, she was a resident chaplain at Covenant Hospital.  She became a Postulant in 2005 and read for orders under Bishop C. Wallis Ohl.  She was ordained to the Diaconate in 2008 and the Priesthood in 2009.  Mother Pat has served the Diocese of Northwest Texas as a supply priest, Canterbury Chaplain, and Spiritual Director.  In 2014, she retired and enjoys reading, iconography, and her twelve grandchildren.  She is a Priest-in-Residence at St. Stephen's where she assists at the altar and pulpit.  She and her husband Bill love being a part of the St. Stephen's community.
