An October outreach project is underway to collect
sleeping bags and backpacks for distributionat St. Benedict's
Chapel, an ecumenical downtown mission. The bags are needed
for the homeless, many of whom are supplied Saturday evening
dinners by several St. Stephen's parishioners in an ongoing
outreach ministry. There is a large box in the foyer (next
to main bulletin board) for placing the donated items.
An
ongoing outreach opportunity at St. Benedict's Mission
welcomes volunteers to join other parishioners in providing
food one Saturday a month for this ecumenical downtown ministry.Contact

A
4th-Sunday ministry beyond our walls is ongoing at the
Hope Community of Shalom (soup kitchen, clothes closet,
food pantry). Check for a sign-up sheet is in the foyer.

An ongoing outreach opportunity. More St. Stephen’s
volunteers are needed to provide meals for St. Benedict’s
Mission. About 30 parishioners are active in an ongoing
endeavor to offer meals one Saturday a month for this ecumenical
downtown ministry. A coordinator and in-place drivers arrange
for the food to be delivered. If you will help in this parish

Our
Easter flowers were so beautiful! After the service
the flowered cross went to All Saints for chapel services,
all Beyond the Altar visits received flowers, as well as
various nursing home and hospital patients.
